Philip Klein has been a nationally recognized investigator practicing Texas for 26 years. Klein started his investigation practice working with Equifax Prudential in the primary claims division, handling insurance death claims. He spent two years in National Politics and Political campaigns. In 1992 Klein formed Klein Investigations and Consulting to serve the expanding and growing legal market in Texas and around the United States.
Klein holds a level IV and managers license with the Texas Commission on Private Security, is a State Licensed Personal Protection Officer, holds a State Accredited Fire Fighters License, Emergency Medical Services Basic License, and a Level 2 Arson Certificate. He further holds a State Supreme Court Standing Rule 103 to effect civil service in any county in the State of Texas and Federally nationwide.
Klein has attended Federal and State interrogation, intelligence, personal protection and surveillance schools and holds numerous State and Federal certificates. The firm has been instrumental in creating a data base on national business, political leaders and elected officials that assist law firms around the United States. He is also a Child Rescue Network Investigator and has been responsible for retrieving over 200 children and fugitives in his career. As well has been recognized with numerous awards.
In 2002, Klein, along with his two business partners created Texas Professional Bodyguards, LLC. A full service intelligence and personal protection agency designed to protect corporate officials and high profile individuals. During Hurricane Rita, Ike, and Katrina TPB serviced the infrastructure utility companies and provided protection for ground operations personnel after the storm(s).
Philip is a long standing member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators. Klein also speaks to groups around the United States on abductions and consults law enforcement and the legal community regarding domestic cases.
Mr. Klein is a noted guest speaker and lecture at law schools around the State of Texas. As well Mr. Klein is a sought after speaker for special events giving his humour and stories of his experiences in previous cases he has been involved in.

TPLI, Personal Protection Officer - Vice President
Inga obtained her level IV investigators license and her Personal Protection License in 2002. She handles intelligence coordination for the company. She is responsible gathering intelligence for background history and on potential threats to Executives and High Profile individuals.
Inga currently holds the highest level State Licensed Paramedic certificate, as well as a personal trainers license. She is a graduate of the numerous hostage and tactical medical operations schools from around the United States. She is the team leader in Protective Services Details and is the chief medic for Texas Professional Bodyguards. She is also a certified marksmen on handguns. This past year Inga has completed her training in SWAT Medic Operations as well as advanced Hostage Rescue Certifications.
As a member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators, Inga brings to the team 20 years of advance medical experience and team work to the Protective Services Detail.
Level III Investigator
TTim joined the firm in April of 2004. Tim has been involved in the federal and criminal justice system for over 25 years. Tim is in charge of the Louisiana operations for KIC and bases that operation in Louisiana.
As well as a level III investigator, Tim is highly trained in hostage negotiation, homeland security, interviewing and surveillance operations.
Caroline joined the team in 2009 as a personal assistant and office manager. Caroline handles all marketing and human resources and is a level one investigator. Caroline has acquired her Master’s in Education, Counseling and Development from Lamar University with an undergraduate in Psychology from Texas Tech University.
Her current assignment is researcher and investigator on all missing children’s cases nationwide, as well as, insurance investigation review and research.
Caroline brings with her excellent people skills, a love and understanding for children, and two years of investigation experience.
Investigator II / Personal Protection Officer
Gill Joined the team in March of 2007 as assigned to the special services group in San Antonio, Texas. Gil is stationed in Central Texas where he works all over the State and the United States. As a former LA County Sheriffs Deputy, Gil comes to both KIC and TPB as a highly trained investigator and personal protection agent.
This past year, Gil has been assigned to different operations around the United States. Some of those include protection of corporate officials, undercover assignments and missing persons cases. Gil is bi-lingual and speaks fluent Spanish.
Gil brings a wealth of law enforcement and protective services experience to both KIC and TPB. Gil is currently serving on staff in California.
Senior Investigator, Personal Protection Officer
Stephen joined the team in October of 2008 as an entry level investigator. Stephen has extensive knowledge of the criminal and civil justice system as well as skip tracing.
In 2009 Stephen graduated from Personal Protection Officer School in the top of his class and is now a commissioned Personal Protection Officer in the state of Texas. He is assigned to covert undercover teams during VIP visits and system operations.
In 2010 Stephen was promoted to Senior Investigator for the company and is a Texas Supreme Court certified process server.
Charley Klein joined the company as a Level One Investigator in December of 2007. His current assignment is for surveillance operations and process service as well as for fleet service.
In 2011, Charley was certified as a Commissioned Personal Protection Officer, and is assigned to the advance team based in Nederland, Texas.
Charley is a Level 2 investigator and a Personal Protection Officer based in Nederland, Texas.
