Investigations and Consulting is a division of Klein
Investments, Inc. began operations in November of 1994. The
company is headed by the CEO Philip R. Klein. It is
licensed by the State of Texas assigned license
A-09257.
In the past 10
years, Klein Investigations and Consulting handled
over 10,000 investigation cases and 1,000 Consulting cases.
The firm handles all types of complex investigations
to missing persons cases.
Klein Investigations
is one of the leaders regarding runaway and missing children's cases
throughout the United States. This past 10 years Klein
Investigations the firm has solved 79 of 81 missing
persons and parental kidnapping cases.
The firm has handled cases from London England,
Washington DC, to Santori Island, Greece, Mexico,
Canada, Australia, Ireland and 29 States. Klein
Investigations also handles Workers Compensation
Issues, Surveillance and Witness Location throughout
the Untied States.
Our
consulting and witness ID division brings law firms
and corporations the information they need to make
decisions in the best interests of their clients.
Our
company expanded into Political and Public research
and background for political candidates and
political campaigns in 1999. Over the past 10 years
the firm has covered 1,000
cases of background investigations of political
candidates and elected officials have been
undertaken.
Meet Our Team
Philip Klein,
TPLI, Personal Protection Officer, CEO

Klein has
been apart of the business and political community
in Southeast Texas for 21 years. He started in the
investigation business with Equifax in the primary
claims division, handling death claims of $3m plus.
Klein was Vice President and Director of Operations
for a major Restaurant Chain until 1992 when he
purchased his own operation. He spent two years in
National Politics and Political campaigns. In 1996
Klein formed Klein Investigations and Consulting to
serve the expanding and growing legal market in
Texas and around the United States.
Klein holds a
level IV managers license with the Texas Commission
on Private Security, is a State Licensed Personal
Protection Agent, holds a State Accredited Fire
Fighters License, Emergency Medical Services Basic
License, and a Level 2 Arson Certificate. Klein is a
NRA certified marksmen. He further holds a State
Supreme Court Standing Rule 103 to effect civil
service in any county in the State of Texas.
Klein has
attended Federal and State interrogation,
intelligence, personal protection and surveillance schools and holds numerous
State and Federal certificates. Klein has been
instrumental in creating a data base on national
business, political leaders and elected officials
that assists law firms around the United States.
He is also a Child Rescue Network Investigator and
has been responsible for retrieving over 50 children
and their parental abductors in the last six years.
In
2002, Klein, along with his two business partners
created Texas Professional Bodyguards. A full
service intelligence and personal protection agency
designed to protect corporate officials and high
profile individuals. During Hurricane Rita, TPB
serviced the infrastructure utility companies and
provide protection for ground operations personnel
after the storm.
Mr. Klein is a member of the Texas Association of Licensed
Investigators, and serves on the Legislative Affairs
Committee. Klein also speaks to groups around the
United States on Parental abductions and consults
law enforcement and the legal community regarding
domestic cases and how they effect law enforcement.
Mr.
Klein has been featured on media programs including
CNN, Fox News, the Nancy Grace Show and is a media
resource for the national media.

Inga L. Klein,
TPLI, Personal Protection Officer - Vice President

Inga
obtained her level IV investigators license and her
Personal Protection License in 2002. She handles
intelligence coordination for the company. She is
responsible
background history and searches on potential threats
to Executives and High Profile individuals.
Inga currently
holds the highest level State Licensed Paramedic
certificate, as well as a personal trainers license.
She is a graduate of the numerous hostage and
tactical medical operations schools from around the
United States.
She is the team leader in Protective Services
Details and is the chief medic for Texas
Professional Bodyguards. She is also a certified
marksmen on handguns. This past year Inga has
completed her training in SWAT Medic Operations as
well as advanced Hostage Rescue Certifications.
As a member of
the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators,
Inga brings to the team 15 years of advance medical
experience and team work to the Protective Services
Detail.

John St. John,
Investigator I

John
has joined the team this year as a level one
investigator.
John
has completed his training and is assigned to the
surveillance team regarding corporate theft,
domestic issues, plant and office safety as well as
internal investigations for small city police
departments in and around the United States.
John is rule 103 certified in Texas by the Texas
Supreme Court.

Tim Gravette,
Investigator III

Tim joined the firm in April of 2004. Tim has
been involved in the federal and criminal justice
system for over 20 years. Recently, Tim has
relocated to Central Texas and is now stationed
there. Tim is in charge of the Southern Region
operations for KIC and bases that operation in the
Corpus Christi area.
As well as a level III investigator, Tim is highly
trained in hostage negotiation, homeland security,
interrogation and interviewing, as well as all
facets of federal law enforcement. Tim is on our
traveling team and is responsible for cases west and
south of the Houston area.
Tim is highly trained in all aspects of advanced
firearms and is a certified marksmen.

Gil Martinez - Investigator II / Personal
Protection Officer
Gill Joined the team in March of 2007 as assigned to
the special services group in San Antonio, Texas.
Gil is stationed in Central Texas where he works all
over the State and the United States. As a former LA
County Sheriffs Deputy, Gil comes to both KIC and
TPB as a highly trained investigator and personal
protection agent.
This past year, Gil has been assigned to different
operations around the United States. Some of those
include protection of corporate officials,
undercover assignments and missing persons cases.
Gil is bi-lingual and speaks fluent Spanish.
Gil brings a wealth of law enforcement and
protective services experience to both KIC and TPB.

Stephen
Hartman - Investigator I

Stephen joined the team in October of 2008 as an
entry level investigator. Stephen comes to KIC from
the bail bonds business in Southeast Texas. Stephen
has knowledge of the criminal justice system as well
as skip tracing.
Gil brings with him a vast knowledge of the civil
and criminal systems in Southeast Texas.

Charles
"Charley" Klein, Investigator I
Email
Charley Klein is considered the "rookie" of the
team. His current assignment is for surveillance
operations and process service as well as fleet
service overview. In early summer of 2008 he was
moved into the operations division and does some
undercover work with the team.
